I started at The Bard Group, LLC, as a contract writer and was brought on staff to improve the company's industry presence with an eye toward being acquired by a national consulting firm. To that end, I wrote, edited, and formatted white papers, proposals, client materials, PowerPoint slide decks, and web pages, often working with the company principals to bring their ideas to light. At the end of my time there, the firm achieved its goal and merged with Navigant Consulting, Inc.
Working with the named authors, I edited, proofread, and formatted articles and papers that were distributed to clients and posted online.
I wrote the content and managed the content architecture for the creation of The Bard Group's first website. Unfortunately for me, The Bard Group maintained a prudent secrecy about its acquisition by Navigant Consulting, with only the principals privy to the sale in advance. As a result, the website disappeared overnight before I learned of the acquisition. Here are some screen captures I made as the site was under development. The graphics and some other features were dynamic and not represented in these screen grabs. But if you want to see what I wrote, here is a small sampling.
A sample for those who want a look at my slide formatting and editing skills. Saved here as a PDF, so no animations.
